Jake Gyllenhaal’s “Source Code” to Become TV Series

Producer Mark Gordon has an overall deal at ABC Studio and has previously developed suchTVseriesas “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice” for the network.
Now comes word that Gordon and ABC are at work on aTVseries based on Gordon’s sci-fi thriller “Source Code,” which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and grossed $123 million on a $32 million budget earlier this year.
Like the film, the series follows three former federal agents who are part of a top-secret program. Each week, they’ll use “Source Code” technology to jump into the consciousness of people involved in tragic events. Steve Maeda (“Lie to Me,” “Lost”) is on board to write.
